You have made a healthy choice in coming to us. Our philosophy is based on the premise that beauty starts from within. Beautiful skin begins with healthy skin, and a beautiful body begins with a healthy body. As such, our services are designed to work with the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Conditions associated with unhealthy skin and body occur progressively by exposure to sunlight, by poor diet, by dehydration, by prolonged stress, among a multitude of other factors. Skin Beautiful's methods of treatment are designed to be progressive as well, so the skin and body can be returned to their natural healthy state without compromising their delicate nature.
For the skin we use microdermabrasion and chemical peels. Microdermabrasion, which is exfoliation, removes the uppermost layer of the skin — the dead layer — to reveal new skin. The vacuum portion of the treatment increases circulation in the skin which promotes tissue growth. The combination of exfoliation and stimulation of new skin growth improves many skin conditions including acne, acne scars, wrinkles, discoloration, and rough texture.
Chemical peels reach into the dermis, the deep skin layer, and affect changes at this level. As a result they cause the regeneration of new cells to occur at a faster rate than they would naturally, and research supports the theory that collagen and elastin production is also stimulated by these treatments. Chemical peels effectively reduce the depth of wrinkles, help fade hyperpigmentation, improve texture, reduce acne scars and treat acne.
Used in tandem, microdermabrasion and chemical peels produce more dramatic results than either treatment alone. The exfoliation produced by microdermabrasion allows up to 50% deeper penetration of the chemical peel, and the chemical peel in turn extends the life of the microdermabrasion.
Non-surgical facelift utilizes a microcurrent of electrical charge to tone and lift facial muscles as well as increase the collagen and elastin in the skin, creating a fuller, youthful effect.
We add skin care products to be used between treatments to continue stimulation of skin renewal and for skin protection.
We offer several types of body work to bring relaxation and restoration of balance for a natural return to health.
